Levofloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a variety of conditions like Bronchitis, Pneumonia, infections of the bladder, etc. It should be avoided if you are known to be allergic to  any other fluoroquinolones. This medicine should be used with caution in the elderly population as it increases the risk of Tendinitis and Tendon rupture.
