It is also used for the treatment of local fibrinolysis (abnormal breakdown of blood clots) that may occur in conditions such as abnormally heavy menstrual bleeding, gastrointestinal bleeding, etc., and general fibrinolysis that may occur in conditions such as hemorrhagic urinary disorders, postoperative hemorrhage (excessive bleeding after a surgical procedure), etc.
