If you do become pregnant during treatment with this medicine or within 3 years of stopping treatment with this medicine, contact your doctor immediately to discuss the possible effects on the unborn baby.

Dosage

    The missed dose should be taken as soon as possible. It is advisable to skip the missed dose if it is already time for your next scheduled dose. Do not use extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.

what are the adverse effects of Acetin capsule 25 mg 3×10’s?

Dry skin, sticky skin, dermatitis, erosion of mucosa, erythema, pruritus, palmer and plantar exfoliation, rhinitis, epistaxis, nail fragility, conjunctivitis, xerophthalmia, bullous eruptions, vulvovaginitis, drowsiness, sweating, gingivitis, alopecia, granulomatous lesions. Severe headache, GI upset, visual disturbance (withdraw immediately and refer for neurological examination), decreased night vision. Hepatotoxicity, change in serum lipids. Myalgia, arthralgia. Hyperostosis and extraosseous calcification (long term therapy). Photosensitivity.

What happens if I miss a dose of Acetin capsule 25 mg 3×10’s?

Adults: Initially 25-30 mg daily for 2 to 4 wk. Titrate against response up to max 75 mg daily. Maintenance, 25-50 mg daily. Max treatment 6 mth. Children: Not recommended.
