What happens if I miss a dose of Actrapid HM Penfill Injection 100 IU 5 Cartridgesx3 mL?
The effect of Actrapid after subcutaneous administration begins after approximately 1/2 hr, is max between 1st and 3rd hr and terminates after approximately 8 hr.
The dosage of insulin should be adjusted to maintain premeal and bedtime blood glucose of 80-140 mg/dL (Children lt; 5 yr: 100-200 mg/dL).
