    This medicine is used to treat rickets and osteomalacia (bone diseases characterized by bone softening and weakening) associated with low levels of phosphate ions in the blood.

Appropriate corrective measures and/or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.

  • Hypervitaminosis D

    This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with high levels of Vitamin D in the body. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, and/or replacement with a suitable alternative should be considered based on the clinical condition of the patient.

  • Other Vitamin D products

    This medicine is not recommended for use in patients receiving other supplements or drugs containing vitamin D as an ingredient due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. It is advised that you report to the doctor all your current medicines including any herbs and supplements before beginning therapy with this medicine.

  • Cardiovascular diseases

    This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases due to the increased risk of worsening of the patients' condition.
