It is advised that you should avoid alcohol and not to perform activities which require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle and operating machinery when taking these medicines together.

• Usage in pregnancy?

  This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.

• Allergy

  This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of allergy to ALLERVIL 50mg Tablet 10x10s or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.

• Neonates and premature infants

  This medicine is not recommended for use in newborn children, premature infants, and children below the age of 5 years.

• Benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate)

  This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with enlarged prostate glands, since taking the medicine may result in further difficulty in passing urine.

• Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO)

  This medicine is not recommended for use in patients taking Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO) such as isocarboxazid, phenelzine, etc. due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects.

• Pregnancy

  This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.

• Breast-feeding

  This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.

• Warning

  Do not use the medication for anything other than the indicated use or more than the prescribed dose. Do not take this medication after the expiry date shown on the packet/label.

• Prostatic hypertrophy

  This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with a history of prostatic hypertrophy due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition of the patient.

• Other uses

  Your doctor may prescribe this medicine for indications other than those stated above in certain specific circumstances, especially if other medicines are not effective. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor in such cases.

• Driving or operating machinery

  This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Take/Administer this medicine as prescribed by the doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed. Use this medicine only for the prescribed purpose. Report any unusual symptoms to the doctor immediately. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
