It is advised that you do not consume caffeine during treatment with this medicine. Using Alzilo tablet 1 mg 10’s along with foods rich in tyramine such as aged or processed cheese, red wine, bananas, avocados, yogurt, etc. may cause a sudden increase in the blood pressure. Report any symptoms such as a sudden, severe headache; difficulty thinking; seizures; or chest pain; etc. to the doctor immediately. Your dietitian/doctor may suggest appropriate changes in your diet based on your clinical condition.

Take This medicine as instructed by the doctor. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller quantities than prescribed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor. Close monitoring of kidney function and blood pressure is necessary while receiving this medicine.

Adults: Monotherapy: 1 mg daily. Adjunctive therapy: Initial: 0.5 mg once daily. Titrate: may increase to 1 mg once daily. Adjust dose of levodopa with concomitant use. Children: Not recommended.
