How to use Ambac Injection 1.5 gm 1 Vial
Administer round the clock by slow injection over 10-15 min or by IV over 15-30 min.

Diarrhoea, rash, allergic reaction e.g. serum sickness, urticaria, bronchospasm, hypotension etc.
What happens if I miss a dose of Ambac Injection 1.5 gm 1 Vial?
IM or IV: Adults: Mild infections: 1.5-3 gm/day (sulbactam 0.5 gm + ampicillin 1 gm).
Moderate infections: up to 6 gm/day (sulbactam 2 gm + ampicillin 4 gm).
Severe infections: up to 12 gm/day (sulbactam 4 gm + ampicillin 8 gm). The divided dosage administered every 6 hr or every 8 hr in less severe infections every 12 hr. Children: Neonates, infants & children, for most infections 150 mg/kg/day (50 mg/kg/day sulbactam + 100 mg/kg/day ampicillin). The divided dosage administered every 6 hr or every 8 hr (12 hr in neonates during the 1st wk of life), normally for 5 to14 day, until 48 hr after pyrexia and other abnormal signs have resolved.
