Amlibon 5mg Tablet
How it Works:
Amlibon 5mg Tablet contains amlodipine, which belongs to a class of drugs known as calcium channel blockers. It works by inhibiting the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiac muscle cells. By blocking calcium channels, amlodipine causes vasodilation of peripheral arterioles, leading to a reduction in peripheral vascular resistance and arterial blood pressure. This vasodilatory effect also decreases the workload of the heart and improves myocardial oxygen delivery, making it useful in the management of hypertension and certain cardiovascular conditions.
