what are the adverse effects of Atropine 1.00% Eye Oint 3.5 gm?
Transient stinging, dry mouth, blurred vision, photophobia, increased intra-ocular pressure. Local irritation, hyperaemia, oedema and conjunctivitis following prolonged use. Systemic effects may occur.
What happens if I miss a dose of Atropine 1.00% Eye Oint 3.5 gm?
DROP: Uveitis: Adults: 1 drop three times daily. Children: 1 drop three times daily.
Refraction: Adults: 1-2 drops one hr before examination. Children: 1 drop twice daily for one or two days before examination.
OINTMENT: Adults: Small quantity of oint once or twice daily.
