How to use Bunorfin tablet 0.2 mg 5×10’s
Administer deep IM or by IV slowly, over a period of at least 2 min. Administer via-deep IM injection. IV administer slowly over at least 2 min. Administer over 20-30 min preferred when managing opioid withdrawal in heroin-dependent hospitalized patients.
Compatibility: Compatible with D5NS, D5W, NS and LR.
Stability: Protect from excessive heat gt; 40°C. Protect from light.

Drowsiness, nausea, dizziness, sweating.
What happens if I miss a dose of Bunorfin tablet 0.2 mg 5×10’s?
Adults: Injection: 0.3-0.6 mg by IM or slow IV inj six or eight hourly.
Tablets: 1-2 sublingually six to eight hourly or as required.
Patch: Chronic pain (moderate to severe): Each patch is intended to be worn for 7 days. Apply patch to a hairless or nearly hairless skin site. For opioid experience patients: 7.5 mcg/hr, 10 mcg/hr, 15 mcg/hr and 20 mcg/hr. Max: 20 mcg/hr. For opioid naive patients: Initiate with a 5 mcg/hr patch. Dose adjustments may be made in 5 mcg/hr, 7.5 mcg/hr, or 10 mcg/hr increments by using no more than two patches of the 5 mcg/hr, 7.5 mcg/hr, or 10 mcg/hr. Max: 20 mcg/hr. For cessation of therapy, use a gradual downward titration of the dose every 7 days to prevent signs and symptoms of withdrawal in the physically dependent patient, consider introduction of an appropriate immediate-release opioid medication. Do not abruptly discontinue.
Children: Sublingual tablets not recommended for children under 6 yr; injection not recommended for children under 6 mth.
Moderate to severe pain: Sublingual: Body-weight 16-25 kg, 100 mcg every 6-8 hr; body-weight 25-37.5 kg, 100-200 mcg every 6-8 hr; body-weight 37.5-50 kg, 200-300 mcg every 6-8 hr; body-weight over 50 kg, 200-400 mcg every 6-8 hr. IM or by slow IV injection: 6 mth-12 yr, 3-6 mcg/kg every 6-8 hr, max 9 mcg/kg; 12-18 yr, 300-600 mcg every 6-8 hr.
