Calendula officinalis is the most remarkable healing agent, applied locally. Calendula is useful for open wounds, parts that will not heal, ulcers, etc. Hence it is homeopathic antiseptic. It promotes healthy granulations and rapid healing by first intention. Calendula is a very common house-hold remedy and helps in healing wounds.
