How it works
Clastin tablet 1 mg 30’s works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction. By blocking another natural substance made by your body (acetylcholine), it helps dry up some body fluids to relieve symptoms such as watery eyes and runny nose.

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to Clastin tablet 1 mg 30’s or any other components present along with it.

This medicine is not recommended for use in newborn children and premature infants due to the increased risk of serious side effects.

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients taking Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO) such as isocarboxazid, phenelzine, etc. due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects.

Administered by IV injection slowly over 2-3 min.
Compatibility: 0.9% NaCl, glucose 5%.

What happens if I miss a dose of Clastin tablet 1 mg 30’s?
INJECTION: Usually anaphylaxis or histamine reactions: Adults: 1 amp IV. Children: 0.025 mg/kg body-wt IV.
ORAL: Adults: 1 tab or 20 mL morning and night. Children: Every 12 hr. 1-3 yr, 1-2 tsf; 3-6 yr, 2 tsf; 6-12 yr, 2-4 tsf.
