This medicine is used to reduce the immune response of the body in organ (kidney, liver, and heart) transplant patients.

This medicine is used alone or with other medications for the treatment of severe or active rheumatoid arthritis (an autoimmune disease that affects the joints in the body causing pain and swelling) along with rest and physical therapy.

This medicine is used for the treatment of severe psoriasis which is an autoimmune skin disease characterized by red inflamed skin, often covered by scales.
