How it works
Entamizole suspension 90 mL is nitro imidazoles which have broad spectrum cidal activity against Protozoa and some anaerobic bacteria. Its selective toxicity to anaerobic microbes involves. It enters the cell by diffusion, Nitro group of drug is reduced by redox proteins present only in anaerobic organisms to reactive nitro radical which exerts cytotoxic action by damaging DNA and other critical biomolecules.DNA helix destabilization & strand breakage has been observed.

What happens if I miss a dose of Entamizole suspension 90 mL?
Adults: 2 tab or 1 DS tab or 10-20 mL thrice daily for 5 days.
Children: 5-12 yr, Half to one tab or 5-10 mL thrice daily for 5 days; 1-5 yr, 5 mL thrice for 5 days. In refractory cases the treatment in adults and children can be continued for 10 days.
