Entecavir Tablets 0.5mg
How it Works
Entecavir is an antiviral medication used to treat chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It works by inhibiting the HBV DNA polymerase enzyme, which is essential for the replication of the virus. By blocking this enzyme, entecavir reduces the amount of hepatitis B virus in the body, thereby helping to prevent liver damage, improve liver function, and reduce the risk of developing liver cancer and cirrhosis.
