Mild transient soreness, erythema and induration at injection site. Fever, malaise, fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite.
What happens if I miss a dose of Epaxal Injection 360 Units 1 Pre filled Syringe?
Adults: Over 16 yr, primary immunisation: 1 mL (720 ELISA units), then 1 mL (720 ELISA units) 2-4 wk later. Booster: 1 mL (720 ELISA units) 6-12 mth following initial dose. All by IM inj into deltoid muscle. In patients with severe haemorrhagic disorders, consider SC inj. Children: Under 1 yr, not recommended; 1-15 yr, primary immunisation: 0.5 mL (360 ELISA units), then 0.5 mL (360 ELISA units) 2-4 wk later. Booster: 0.5 mL (360 ELISA units) 6-12 mth following initial dose. All by IM inj into deltoid muscle. In patients with severe haemorrhagic disorders, consider SC inj.
