This medicine is used in the treatment if Otitis Media which is an ear infection caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae.

Clostridium difficile-associated Diarrhea
Avoid if you experience severe diarrhea after receiving Eryderm 2.00% Lotion 60 ml . As antibiotic therapy will cause an imbalance in the normal microbial flora in the large intestine which promotes the growth of bacteria called Clostridium difficile.

Impaired liver function
This medicine may increase the liver enzymes and may cause cholestatic hepatitis, with or without jaundice. This medicine should be used with caution in the patients with the history of liver disease. Dose adjustments are to be made based on the severity of liver injury.

QT prolongation
This medicine should be used with caution in the patients receiving QT prolongation medications as it can increase the risk of arrhythmia. Frequent monitoring of heart function is necessary and an alternate medicine should be considered.

Myasthenia Gravis
This medicine should be used with caution in the patients with the history of Myasthenia Gravis as it may aggravate the weakness in these patients.
