Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver diseases.

  • Driving or Operating machinery

    This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

  • Drug resistance

Postural hypotension, drowsiness, dizziness, seizures, headache, encephalopathy, depression, rash, hypoglycaemia, goitre, gynaecomastia, thrombocytopenia, hepatitis, jaundice, elevated AST, ALT and serum bilirubin, peripheral neuropathy, tremor, optic neuritis, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, anorexia, stomatitis, metallic taste, weight loss, excessive salivation.

What happens if I miss a dose of Ethomid tablet 250 mg 3×10’s?

Adults: 500-1000 mg/day in 1-3 divided doses. Children: Treatment, 15-20 mg/kg/day in 2-3 divided doses, not to exceed 1 gm/day.
