  This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a severe bone marrow suppression (WBC less than 2,000 cells/mm3 or platelet count less than 75,000 cells/mm3) not due to malignant disease since it may worsen the patient's condition.

• Live vaccines

  Administration of live vaccines is contraindicated during treatment with this medicine due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects including life-threatening infections and death.

• Pregnancy

  This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women except in life-threatening conditions. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before receiving this medicine.

• Breast-feeding

  This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before receiving this medicine. • Myelosuppressuion

  This medicine may cause significant bone marrow suppression in some patients. This increases the risk of life-threatening infections and other associated complications. Close monitoring of blood cell counts is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

• Anaphylactic reactions

  This medicine may cause severe hypersensitivity or anaphylactic reactions in some patients. The symptoms of such reactions may include chills, fever, increased heart rate, breathing difficulties, low blood pressure, etc. Close monitoring of the patient for any such reactions is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

• Pediatric Use

  This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients below 18 years of age since there is limited information on the use of this medicine in such patients.

• Rapid intravenous injection

  ETOPUL 20mg|ml Injection 5 ampule is intended for slow intravenous infusion only. It must not be given by rapid intravenous injection. Rapid intravenous injections of this medicine may cause serious abnormalities in heart rate and other cardiac toxicities.

• Drowsiness

  This medicine may rarely cause drowsiness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating heavy machinery if you experience drowsiness during treatment with this medicine.

Carefully follow all instructions given by your doctor and report any severe undesirable side effects to the doctor immediately. Do not consume the oral form of this medicine in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
