How It Works

Evenity (romosozumab) is a monoclonal antibody that works by inhibiting sclerostin, a protein that regulates bone metabolism. By blocking sclerostin, Evenity increases bone formation and decreases bone resorption, leading to a net gain in bone density and strength. This dual effect on bone turnover helps to reduce the risk of fractures in individuals with osteoporosis.
