What is it prescribed for?

Benign prostatic hyperplasia
EZIFLO XL 10mg Tablet 30s is used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia such as difficulty in urinating, painful urination, and urinary urgency or frequency.

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to EZIFLO XL 10mg Tablet 30s or any other components present along with it.

Postural hypotension
Caution is advised while using this medicine due to the increased risk of postural hypotension. Patients are advised to get up slowly from a sitting or a lying position to avoid fainting and falling due to a sudden drop in the blood pressure. Report any symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, or drowsiness to the doctor immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments may be necessary based on the clinical condition.

Severe renal impairment
This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with severe renal impairment (CrCl less than 30 ml/min) due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. Appropriate dose adjustments should be made based on the clinical condition of the patient.

This medicine is not indicated for use in women and children.

Priapism
This medicine may rarely cause a very painful erection which may not subside (priapism). Seek immediate medical attention if this happens. If priapism is not treated, it may lead to impotence.

If a dose of EZIFLO XL 10mg Tablet 30s is missed, take the dose as soon as you remember it. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
