FEDRAPEN 125mg|5ml Syrup 60ml is used in the treatment of infections of the urinary tract caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

This medicine is used in the treatment of Intraabdominal infections like gastroenteritis.

Allergic Reaction
Avoid if you have a known allergy to FEDRAPEN 125mg|5ml Syrup 60ml or Beta-lactam Antibiotics like penicillins and cephalosporins. Seek immediate medical attention if the patient experiences any allergic symptoms like rash, itching, nausea or vomiting, swelling of lips, hands, and feet.

Drug-resistance
Usage of FEDRAPEN 125mg|5ml Syrup 60ml without sufficient proof or suspicion of a bacterial infection should be avoided. Irrational dosing might fail in providing the benefits and even cause toxicity. It may also increase the risk of development of bacteria that is drug resistant.

Clostridium difficile-associated Diarrhea
Do not take if you experience severe diarrhea after receiving FEDRAPEN 125mg|5ml Syrup 60ml. This is because the antibiotic therapy will cause an imbalance in the normal microbial flora in the large intestine, which promotes the growth of bacteria called clostridium difficile.

Mononucleosis
FEDRAPEN 125mg|5ml Syrup 60ml is likely to cause rashes and bumps on the skin if the patient is suffering from Mononucleosis. Usage of FEDRAPEN 125mg|5ml Syrup 60ml is not recommended in such cases.
