How it works
FOLT-X 20mg|ml Injection 5mlx5s is dissociated into iron and sucrose and the iron is transported as a complex with transferrin to target cells including erythroid precursor cells. It is then incorporated into hemoglobin as the cells mature into red blood cells.

Iron Deficiency Anemia Associated with Chronic Renal Failure
This medicine is used to treat iron deficiency anemia associated with chronic kidney disease.

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to FOLT-X 20mg|ml Injection 5mlx5s , other iron supplements or any other inactive ingredients present along with it.

Iron overload
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with iron overload conditions such as hemochromatosis (a condition of excess iron in the body) due to the risk of adverse effects.

Hypersensitivity reactions
This medicine may cause serious allergic reactions, including anaphylactic reactions, shock, loss of consciousness, collapse, low blood pressure, etc. The patient should be monitored for signs and symptoms of allergic reactions during and after therapy with this medicine for about 30 minutes. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.
