This medicine is used to treat increased level of ammonia (hyperammonemia) and neurological disturbances (hepatic encephalopathy) associated with liver diseases like Cirrhosis, Hepatitis, fatty liver, etc.
When not to use?

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to GLUTAN 50mg Tablet 2x10s or any other inactive ingredients present along with it.

Severe kidney impairment
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney diseases due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Clinical monitoring
Regular monitoring of serum and urinary levels of urea is necessary while receiving the parenteral (injection/infusion) form of this medicine. Your dose may be adjusted by your physician based on these parameters to avoid undesired side effects.

Dental caries
