what are the adverse effects of Gopten capsule 2 mg 28’s?
Cough, headache, asthaenia, dizziness, rash, symptomatic hypotension, palpitations. Reports of angioedema (discontinue), bone marrow depression, agranulocytosis, hepatic failure, Steven’s Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis.
What happens if I miss a dose of Gopten capsule 2 mg 28’s?
Adults: Hypertension: Initially 0.5 mg once daily, increased at intervals 2-4 wk, usual range 1-2 mg once daily; Max 4 mg daily.
Prophylaxis after MI: (Starting as early as 3 days after infarction), initially 0.5 mg once daily; gradually increased to max 4 mg once daily.
Children: Not recommended.
