what are the adverse effects of HiGlobin Injection 1 Vialx100 mL?
Nausea, diarrhoea, chills, fever, headache, dizziness, arthralgia, myalgia, muscle spasms, low back pain, allergic reactions, injection site reactions, anaphylactic reactions, thromboembolic events. Rarely hypotension, aseptic meningitis, acute renal failure.
What happens if I miss a dose of HiGlobin Injection 1 Vialx100 mL?
Immunodeficiency syndrome: 200 mg/kg once a mth. May increase to 300-400 mg/kg or increase frequency of administration.
ITP: 400 mg/kg/day for 5 days. Maintenance 400 mg/kg to be given every few wk to maintain platelet count.
