How to use HMG Massone Injection 75 IU 1 Amp
IM or SC (ONLY as per manufacturers instruction) administration. The lower abdomen (alternating sides) should be used for subcutaneous administration.
Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored refrigerated or at room temperature 3°C-25°C (37°F-77°F). Protect from light.
what are the adverse effects of HMG Massone Injection 75 IU 1 Amp?
Ovarian hyperstimulation, enlargement and rupture. Multiple pregnancy. Allergic reactions. GI upset, acne, gynaecomastia, wt gain, headache, rarely fever, joint pain.
What happens if I miss a dose of HMG Massone Injection 75 IU 1 Amp?
Adults: Female for induction of ovulation: 1 amp daily for 9-12 days followed by 10,000 units hCG one day after the last dose; repeated at least twice at same level before increasing dosage to 2 ampoules. See literature.
Male for spermatogenesis: Following pretreatment with hCG, 1 amp 3 times/wk and hCG 2000 units twice wkly until sperm is detected in the ejaculate (4-6 mth) then may be increased to 2 amp 3 times/wk. See literature.
Children: Not applicable.
