    Use of this medicine may weaken the immune system and may make you more vulnerable to infections. The chance of developing infections (viral, bacterial, fungal, including opportunistic infections) are more during treatment with this medicine. Hold the treatment and start with the broad-spectrum antibiotics if there are any signs and symptoms of fever. Close monitoring of the body temperature and the blood cell count is necessary. It is advised that you avoid coming in contact with people suffering from an infection while receiving this medicine.

  • Liver impairment

    This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients suffering from moderate or severe liver diseases due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of liver function is necessary while receiving this medicine.   • Kidney impairment

Gastro-intestinal disturbances including dyspepsia and inflammatory and ulcerative disorders; hepatic dysfunction, jaundice, bile-duct and gallbladder abnormalities; hypertension (less frequently hypotension), tachycardia, angina, arrhythmias, thromboembolic and ischaemic events, rarely myocardial hypertrophy, cardiomyopathy; dyspnoea, pleural effusion; tremor, headache, insomnia, paraesthesia, confusion, depression, dizziness, anxiety, convulsions, incoordination, encephalopathy, psychosis; visual and hearing abnormalities; haematological effects including anaemia, leukocytosis, leucopenia, thrombocytopenia, Coagulation disorders; altered acid-base balance and glucose metabolism, electrolyte disturbances including hyperkalaemia (less frequently hypokalaemia); altered renal function including increased serum creatinine; hypophosphataemia, hypercalcaemia, hyperuricaemia; muscle cramps, arthralgia; pruritus, alopecia, rash, sweating, acne, photosensitivity; susceptibility to lymphoma and other malignancies particularly of the skin; less commonly ascites, pancreatitis, atelectasis, kidney damage and renal failure, myasthaenia, hirsutism; rarely Stevens-Johnson syndrome.

What happens if I miss a dose of Inograf capsule 5 mg 10’s?

Primary immunosuppression in liver & kidney allograft recipients: Adults: Oral liver transplantation: 0.1-0.2 mg/Kg/day in 2 divided doses, start approx 6 hr after completion of surgery.
Kidney transplantation: 0.15-0.3 mg/Kg/day in 2 divided doses, start within 24 hr of surgery.
Children: Oral liver transplantation: 0.3 mg/kg/day in 2 divided doses.
Allograft rejection resistant to conventional immunosuppressive regimens: Begin with initial dose for primary immunosuppression in that particular allograft.
