How It Works

Isodit-60 SR contains Isosorbide Mononitrate, which belongs to a class of drugs known as nitrate vasodilators. It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, primarily the veins. This relaxation reduces the workload on the heart, increases oxygen supply to the heart, and decreases the heart’s demand for oxygen. As a result, it helps in relieving chest pain (angina) and improving exercise tolerance in patients with coronary artery disease.

• Severe anemia
• Low blood pressure (hypotension)
• Constrictive pericarditis
