How to use Klinda capsule 300 mg 16’s

IM: Deep IM, rotate sites. Do not exceed 600 mg in a single injection. IV: Never give as bolus. Administer by IV intermittent infusion over at least 10-60 min, at a rate not to exceed 30 mg/min; final concentration for administration should not exceed 12 mg/ mL.
Reconstitution: Dilute 300 mg in 50 mL of diluent and give over 10 mins. Dilute 600 mg in 100 mL of diluent and give over 20 mins. Dilute 900 mg in 100 mL of diluent and give over 30 mins.
Compatibility: Stable in D5LR, D5½NS, D5NS, D5W, D10W, LR, NS. At Y-site administration, incompatible with allopurinol, filgrastim, fluconazole, idarubicin. In syringe, incompatible with tobramycin. When admixed, incompatible with aminophylline, barbiturates, calcium gluconate, ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin, gentamicin with cephazolin, magnesium sulphate, phenytoin.
Stability: IV infusion solution in NS or D5W solution is stable for 16 days at room temperature.

What happens if I miss a dose of Klinda capsule 300 mg 16’s?

ORAL: Adults: 150-450 mg six hourly. Children: Under 1 yr, 2.5-5 mL; 4-7 yr, 5-7.5 mL; 8-12 yr, 7.5-10 mL. All six hourly.
Lower Respiratory Infection: Adults: 150-450 mg every 6 hr. Children: 8-20 mg/kg/day given in 3-4 doses.
Bone Infection: Adults: 150-450 mg every 6 hr. Children: 8-20 mg/kg/day given in 3-4 doses.
Skin Infection: Adults: 150-450 mg every 6 hr. Children: 8-20 mg/kg/day given in 3-4 doses.
Bacterial Vaginosis: Pregnant/Non-Pregnant: 300 mg every 12 hr for 7 days.
INJECTION: Adults: 600 mg-2.7 gm by IM, inj or IV infusion daily in divided doses. Children: Over 1 mth, 15-40 mg/kg daily in divided doses.
