Leviva tablet 5 mg 10’s works by blocking the action of a natural substance produced by the body called histamine which is responsible for causing allergic symptoms.

What is it prescribed for?

• Allergic Rhinitis

  Leviva tablet 5 mg 10’s is used to treat the symptoms associated with seasonal and long-term rhinitis.

• Utricaria

  Leviva tablet 5 mg 10’s is used to treat chronic skin complications associated with utricaria.

When not to use?

• CNS Depression

  Leviva tablet 5 mg 10’s may cause mild to moderate CNS depression resulting in sleepiness, difficulty in concentrating, etc. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience these side effects during treatment with this medicine.

• Alcohol

  Leviva tablet 5 mg 10’s is not recommended for use by patients who consume alcohol on a regular basis due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects.

• Other Medicines

  Leviva tablet 5 mg 10’s may increase the risk of sleepiness and impaired thinking when taken with medicines that are sedatives or tranquilizers. It is advised that you inform the doctor about all your current medicines including any herbs or supplements before beginning treatment with Leviva tablet 5 mg 10’s.

• Elderly population

  This medicine should be used with caution in the elderly population due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. Appropriate dose adjustments may be necessary based on the clinical condition.

• Infants

  Leviva tablet 5 mg 10’s is not recommended for use in children younger than 6 months of age. Safety and effectiveness of this medicine are not clinically established for such patients.

• Urinary retention

  This medicine should be used with caution in patients with spinal cord lesions or prostatic hyperplasia since it may increase the risk of urinary retention.

Take Leviva tablet 5 mg 10’s with or without food. Do not take in larger amounts than advised/prescribed. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side effects. Ensure that the course of treatment is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
