Hypotension
Symptomatic hypotension may occur in patients with volume depletion or who are treated with high-dose diuretics. Correct the condition before starting Lisoril 2.5 MG Tablet or start the treatment at reduced doses.

Hyperkalemia
Lisoril 2.5 MG Tablet may cause an increase in the potassium levels in the blood. Use with caution in patients with concomitant use of potassium-sparing diuretics or potassium supplements and in patients with impaired kidney function.

Impaired liver function
Lisoril 2.5 MG Tablet may rarely cause liver injuries like jaundice or hepatitis. Discontinue the medicine if any signs of liver injury like increased liver enzyme levels.

Pediatric population
The safety and efficacy of Lisoril 2.5 MG Tablet have not been established in children age below 6 years.

Cough
Lisoril 2.5 MG Tablet may cause persistent nonproductive cough. It is resolved when the medicine is discontinued.
