    Lolipid tablet 10 mg 10’s is a drug that acts on an enzyme responsible for the production of cholesterol in the blood. Thus, the level of cholesterol produced in the blood gets reduced over time.

    • Mixed Dyslipidemia

      Lolipid tablet 10 mg 10’s is used to reduce high levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood (main constituents of body fat in humans and other animals, as well as vegetable fat). It also increases the levels of high density cholesterol.

    GI upset, headache, myalgia, asthenia, insomnia, dizziness, paraesthesia, fatigue, myalgia, hypoaesthesia, arthralgia, chest and back pain, hyperglycaemia, nasopharyngitis, pharyngolaryngeal pain, epistaxis, pain in extremity, muscle spasms, joint swelling, abnormal LFTs, raised ceatine kinase levels. Elevated ALT and CPK levels. Reports of immune-mediated necrotising myopathy.

    What happens if I miss a dose of Lolipid tablet 10 mg 10’s?

    Adults: Initially 10 mg once daily. Increase as necessary at 4 wk intervals; max 80 mg once daily.
    Children: Under 10 yr, not recommended. Hyperlipidaemia including familial hypercholesterolaemia: 10-18 yr, initially 10 mg once daily, increased if necessary at intervals of at least 4 wk to usual max 20 mg once daily. Max 80 mg once daily in homozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia.
