Children: Nausea and vomiting of known cause; nausea and vomiting associated with vestibular disorders and palliative care: 1 mth-6 yr, Orally 0.5-1 mg/kg up to 3 times daily, max single dose 25 mg.
what are the adverse effects of Medizine syrup 12.5 mg/5 mL 60 mL?
Tachycardia, urticaria, rash, headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, blurred vision, urinary retention, constipation, restlessness, nervousness, insomnia, auditory visual hallucinations. Rarely cholestatic jaundice, hepatitis, hypersensitivity reactions. Agranulocytosis, asthaenia, muscle spasms, bronchospasm, apnoea, hypertension, disorienation.
What happens if I miss a dose of Medizine syrup 12.5 mg/5 mL 60 mL?
Adults: 50 mg up to three times daily. Children: Under 6 yr: Not recommended. 6-12 yr, 25 mg up to three times daily; 12-18 yr, 50 mg up to three times daily.
