What happens if I miss a dose of Mixtard 30 HM Injection 100 IU 1 Vialx10 mL?
The effect of Mixtard after subcutaneous administration begins after approximately 1/2 hr, is max between 2nd and 8th hr and terminates after approximately 24 hr.
The dosage of insulin should be adjusted to maintain premeal and bedtime blood glucose of 80-140 mg/dL (Children lt; 5 yr: 100-200 mg/dL).
