GI upset, nausea, vomiting, weight gain, breast tenderness and enlargement, breakthrough bleeding, headache, dizziness, impaired liver function, cholestatic jaundice, epistaxis, migraine, thromboembolic disorders (consider withdrawal), exacerbation of varicose veins, increased blood pressure, transient erythema, generalized pruritus, lower glucose tolerance.
What happens if I miss a dose of Oestrodose Gel 80 gm?
Adults: Menopausal symptoms: 2.5 gm (2 measures) once daily applied to arms, shoulders or inner thighs. Increase to 5 gm (4 measures) daily if response inadequate after 1 mth. Prevention of Osteoporosis: 2.5 gm (2 measures) once daily applied to arms, shoulders or inner thighs. Children: Not applicable.
