This medicine is not recommended for use in viral diseases including epithelial herpes simplex keratitis, and other diseases of cornea and conjunctiva.

Missed Dose
Administer the missed dose as soon as you remember. It is advisable to skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not instill a double dose to make up for the missed one.

Corneal thinning, cataract, rise in intra-ocular pressure; fungal infection, local irritation, avoid unnecessary use.
What happens if I miss a dose of Optadex 0.10% Eye Drops 5 ml?
DROP: Adults & Children: Severe disease, 1 or 2 drops hourly. Mild disease, 1 or 2 drops 4-6 times daily.
OINT: Adults & Children: Apply thin coating into conjunctival sac 3-4 times daily; gradually taper the dose to continue.
