• Severe renal impairment

  This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from severe renal impairment due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.

• Electrolytes imbalance

  This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from an existing electrolyte imbalance due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

• Fecal impaction or rectal fissures

  This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from a fecal impaction, a condition where a large or hardened mass of stool gets stuck in the rectum or lower colon due to chronic constipation and in patients with rectal fissures, a small tear in the lining of the anus which causes severe pain during bowel movements due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

• Gastrointestinal obstruction or perforation

  This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from a gastrointestinal obstruction or perforation due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

• Pregnancy

  This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.

• Breast-feeding

  This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.

• Liver impairment

  This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of liver function is recommended for such patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.

• Hypermagnesaemia

  Use of this medicine may increase the magnesium levels in the blood. The risk is especially higher in patients suffering from kidney diseases. Report any symptoms such as flushing of the skin, increased thirst, difficulty in breathing, changes in heart rate, etc. to the doctor immediately. Close monitoring of magnesium levels, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Take this medicine exactly as instructed by the doctor. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts than prescribed/advised. Seek emergency medical treatment in case of any severe adverse effects. Ensure that the course of treatment is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
