What is it prescribed for?

  • Radical treatment of malaria

    This medicine is used for the treatment and prevention of relapse of malaria caused by Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium ovale strains of the parasite. It is generally used along with other malaria medications to provide a radical cure.

  • Quinacrine

    This medicine is not recommended for use if you are consuming Quinacrine or any other combination medicine containing quinacrine.

  • Heart disease

  • Drug resistance

  • Prolongation of QT interval

Dosage

  • Missed Dose

    Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next scheduled dose, then the missed dose can be skipped.

  • Overdose

    Contact your doctor immediately if an overdose with this medicine is suspected. Symptoms of an overdose with this medicine may include vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain and cramps, pale skin, bluish lips and fingernails etc.

This results in a reduction of immune system capabilities due to depression of bone marrow cells. Some of the most common diseases are Rheumatoid arthritis, leukopenia etc.
