How to use Recofol 1.00% Infusion 1 Vialx100 mL

Before use, propofol should be shaken well. It may be administered undiluted by IV injection or infusion or diluted with dextrose 5% to not less than 2 mg/mL.
Compatibility: Stable in D5LR, D5 1/4NS, D5 1/2NS, D5W, LR.
Y-site administration:
Drug to Drug IV Compatibility: Acyclovir, aztreonam, bumetanide, calcium gluconate, cephazolin, ceftriaxone, cimetidine, dexamethasone, diphenhydramine, dobutamine, dopamine, enalapril, epinephrine, esmolol, famotidine, fentanyl, fluconazole, furosemide, heparin, hydrocortisone, hydromorphone, imipenem, insulin regular, labetalol, lorazepam, magnesium sulphate, milrinone, nitroglycerin, nitroprusside, norepinephrine, ondansetron, ranitidine, vecuronium.
Drug to Drug IV Incompatibility: Amikacin, amphotericin B, atracurium, bretylium, ciprofloxacin, cisatracurium, diazepam, digoxin, doxorubicin, gentamicin, levofloxacin, methotrexate, methylprednisolone sodium succinate, metoclopramide, minocycline, mitoxantrone, phenytoin, tobramycin, verapamil.
Stability: Intact containers should be stored between 4°C-22°C and protect from freezing.
