Relugolix 120 mg (raxigo) tablets
How It Works
Relugolix, marketed under the brand name Raxigo, is a medication used for the treatment of prostate cancer and uterine fibroids. It works by inhibiting the production of certain hormones, specifically luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which are involved in the growth and progression of these conditions. By suppressing LH and FSH levels, Relugolix helps to decrease the production of testosterone in men and estrogen in women, which slows down the growth of prostate cancer cells and fibroids, respectively.
