Hypersensitivity reaction, GI upset. Rarely hepatitis, cholestatic jaundice, haematological and CNS effects, pseudomembranous colitis, increased INR.
What happens if I miss a dose of Sulbamox suspension Infusionant 250 mg 60 mL?
ORAL: Susp: Children: 2-12 yr, 1-2 teaspoonful eight hourly; Under 2 yr, 1 teaspoonful eight hourly.
Tab: Adults: 1 tab eight hourly.
INJECTION: IM or IV. Adults: Mild infections: Sulbactam 0.5 gm/day. Moderate infections: Sulbactam 2 gm/day. Severe infections: Sulbactam 4 gm/day. The divided dosage administered every 8 hr. Children: 50 mg/kg/day sulbactam. The divided dosage administered every 8 hr. See literature.
