TARCEVA 25 MG 30 TABLET
How It Works
TARCEVA contains the active ingredient erlotinib, which is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) that targets the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). EGFR is a protein that is often overexpressed or mutated in certain types of cancer cells, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and pancreatic cancer. By inhibiting EGFR, TARCEVA blocks the signaling pathways that promote cancer cell growth, proliferation, and survival. This helps to slow down or stop the growth of cancer cells, leading to tumor shrinkage and improved patient outcomes.
