This medicine is not recommended for pregnant women.

Blood cell count
This medicine may lower the white blood cell count (neutrophils). Close monitoring of blood cell count is necessary. Do not start the treatment if the neutrophils count is less than 1500 cells/mm3.

Allergy
This medicine may cause serious skin reactions. Discontinue the treatment if any symptoms of allergy appear and do not restart.

Fluid accumulation
This medicine may cause swelling of feet and hands. Patients should be given with a corticosteroid dose to reduce the severity of fluid accumulation. Any symptoms of swelling of limbs should be reported to the doctor. Close monitoring of patients body weight is necessary.

Neurologic reactions
This medicine is known to cause nerve damage. Any symptoms of tingling or burning sensation and pain should be reported to the doctor. Dose adjustments are to be made based on the clinical condition. Discontinue the treatment if the symptoms persist.

Eye disorders
This medicine is known to cause cystoid macular edema which is an eye disorder. Discontinue the treatment if any symptoms of impaired vision are observed.
