What is it prescribed for?

• Muscle spasticity

  This medicine is used in the treatment of muscle spasticity, a condition where certain specific muscles are continuously contracted.

When not to use?

• Hypotension

  This medicine should be used with caution in patients with hypotension (low blood pressure) or patients predisposed to hypotension due to the increased risk of hypotensive episodes. Appropriate dose adjustments and close monitoring of blood pressure may be required for such patients.

• Kidney disease

  This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from kidney diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of kidney function tests is necessary while receiving this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

• Liver impairment

  This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver impairment due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of liver function tests is necessary while receiving this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

• Sedation

  This medicine should be used with caution in patients receiving sedatives since it may increase the sedative effects of such medications. Any unusual symptoms should be reported to the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments should be done under your doctor's supervision.

• Driving or operating machinery

  This medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.
