Trastuzumab For Injection 440mg (Herclon)
“`html
How It Works
Trastuzumab (marketed as Herclon among other names) is a monoclonal antibody that targets the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). HER2 is a protein that promotes the growth of cancer cells, particularly in breast cancer. Trastuzumab works by binding to HER2 receptors on the surface of cancer cells, which inhibits their growth and signals the immune system to destroy them. This helps to slow or stop the progression of HER2-positive breast cancer.
