This medicine is used for the treatment of plaque psoriasis which is characterized by red, scaly, itchy, dry patches on the skin and the scalp due to the increased production of skin cells.

This medicine is used in the treatment of acne vulgaris, a common chronic skin condition in which the hair follicles and the accompanying sebaceous glands that lubricate the skin are blocked, leading to the formation of blackheads or whiteheads.
