Aliskiren
Coadministration of Aliskiren and Triforge tablet 10/160/12.5 mg 28’s is not recommended in the elderly population with diabetes and kidney disease, with CrCl less than 60 ml/min. These patients are at a high risk of serious adverse effects if these medicines are used together.

Hypotension
Symptomatic hypotension may occur in patients with volume depletion or patients who are treated with high doses of diuretics. It is advised to correct the condition before starting Triforge tablet 10/160/12.5 mg 28’s or to start the treatment at reduced doses.

Hyperkalemia
Triforge tablet 10/160/12.5 mg 28’s may cause hyperkalemia, a condition with an increase in the potassium levels in the blood. Close monitoring of potassium levels and kidney functions is recommended. This medicine should be used with caution in patients with frequent use of potassium-sparing diuretics or potassium supplements and in patients with impaired kidney function. Any unusual symptoms should be reported to the doctor on priority.

Triforge tablet 10/160/12.5 mg 28’s is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver failure.
