This medicine is used in the treatment of keratitis, is an inflammation of the cornea characterized by the symptoms of red-eye, sensitivity to light, watery eyes, and blurred vision.

Allergic conjunctivitis
This medicine is used in the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis caused by an allergic reaction to substances like pollen or mold spores characterized by symptoms like inflammation, redness, irritation of the eye.

Cyclitis
This medicine is used in the treatment of cyclitis, is a condition that affects the ciliary body of the eye.

When not to use?

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known allergy to Vegadex 0.10% Eye Drops 5 ml or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from fungal infections due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Contact lenses
Usage of the contact lens is not recommended if any signs and symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis such as eye redness, irritation, drainage, etc. are present.

Driving or operating machinery
This medicine may cause blurred vision or drowsiness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Ocular infections
This medicine is not recommended for use in viral diseases including epithelial herpes simplex keratitis, and other diseases of cornea and conjunctiva.

Missed Dose
Administer the missed dose as soon as you remember. It is advisable to skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not instill a double dose to make up for the missed one.

Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

What happens if I miss a dose of Vegadex 0.10% Eye Drops 5 ml?
DROP: Adults & Children: Severe disease, 1 or 2 drops hourly. Mild disease, 1 or 2 drops 4-6 times daily.
OINT: Adults & Children: Apply thin coating into conjunctival sac 3-4 times daily; gradually taper the dose to continue.
